Closet Clean Finish

Our Closet Clean Finish is a nod to the vintage VOS style finish. We like to say, “it’s like a well kept 50 year old guitar”. You can expect the guitar to have a thin lacquer finish like the good ol’ days, with the true vintage style lacquer that will naturally age appropriately. The finish won’t be a perfectly clean finish, but may show a mark here or there. The hardware will be aged as expected on an old guitar, while the guitar invites you to add all the aging yourself the old fashioned way - through lots of hours behind playing it.

Light Relic

Our Light Relic Finish is just like it sounds. It shares a lot of similiarities as our Closet Clean Finish, but with a little more aging to the hardware & some tastefully applied scratches/dings, Not too much, but just enough to highlight where a guitar starts to develop some natural wear.
